Browsing images in Backgrounds is a fairly comfortable process. Four preview images are displayed on screen at once, and you can cycle through these using the left and right arrow buttons (not by swiping, unfortunately). Tap an image and you'll see it full screen.
When you've selected an image in Backgrounds, you are given four different options: to set it instantly as your wallpaper, to assign the picture to a contact, to set as a favorite, or to save it to your phone's SD card.
